Lecture at the School of Design, UWA

UWA-Presentation-first-slideOn the 7th February I gave a talk at the School of Design, University of Western Australia (UWA). This is where I studied both Fine Art and then Architecture at undergraduate, in the 1990’s. I have exhibited (as a student) and lectured (both as a student and visiting academic) in this particular room.

The talk was a version of the presentation I gave at the Soane Museum in November (2018). I added some of the work that I have been doing over the past two months in Australia, including work produced while in residency of UWA Architecture Studio 310.

Following the presentation we had an interesting conversation about some of the idea discussed, including the impact of the very specific quality of light in Perth upon its architecture and urban space.
