Teaching

I have taught architecture for 19 years, and am currently Associate Professor of Architectural Representation at the Kingston School of Art. I have previously undertaken the Head of Department role for the Department of Architecture and Landscape at Kingston University, London, and prior to that I was the Associate Head of Kingston’s School of Architecture and Landscape, the Course Director for both the Graduate Diploma Architecture (RIBA Part 2) and the BA(Hons) Architecture (RIBA Part 1) courses at Kingston. I have also taught architecture design studio, representation, dissertation, and PhD supervision at Kingston University and the University of Portsmouth.

I previously taught undergraduate design at Kingston with Will Burges of 31/44 Architects, and Dr Alessandro Zambelli.

Within my work as an architectural educator, I teach students to consider how the transdisciplinary techniques developed though my practice-led research may form part of their expanded representational repertoire.
