This film explores the qualities of flowing water as it passes through the fountain and drinking trough of a natural spring in a small village in northern Italy. Slow motion imagery exposes forms and movements of the water normally imperceptible to the human eye, while real-time footage anchors the fountain in the everyday, a source of drinking water for the village and travellers.
The footage for the film was shot in summer 2018, and edited in summer 2019, both on location in Grezzo.
